Once you call us to schedule your free on-site consultation we will come out to meet you and assess your space. We will bring a variety of deck samples and spend time with you going over your vision for your deck project.
If we are a good fit, an estimate will be emailed to you. If you choose Aurora Custom Decks as your deck contractor (and we hope you do!) we will then finalize the details, and send an agreement for your review.
Once your project starts if you have any questions at any time regarding your deck build, Lindsay at the office is always available to chat! And you'll have peace of mind knowing that all of our decks come with a 2-year craftsmanship warranty.

Do we build wood decks?
The short answer is: not usually.
While we primarily build with composite and PVC for their durability and low-maintenance benefits, we do take on select wood deck projects—typically large-scale builds where wood makes sense for the design and budget.
That said, with the rising cost of lumber and the increasing affordability of high-quality composite and PVC products, we find that most homeowners get better long-term value from low-maintenance materials. They may cost more upfront, but they last much longer, require less upkeep, and continue to look great for years to come.
Composite decking is made up of a mixture of organic and plastic products and is capped with plastic. PVC decking is 100% plastic from the core to the cap.

What's the difference between composite
and PVC decking?
Do you offer repairs? How much do PVC and composite decks cost to build?
We focus exclusively on full-scope deck projects—meaning we don't offer repairs on existing decks we didn’t build, or standalone features like stairs or privacy walls unless they’re part of a complete build.
Most of our projects fall in the $20,000 to $50,000+ range, depending on size, materials, and complexity. We work with premium composite and PVC decking to create spaces that are not only beautiful, but also long-lasting and low-maintenance.
We proudly stand behind our work with a 2-year craftsmanship warranty. If any manufacturer defects arise, we’ll work with the supplier (who typically covers the materials) and handle the repair work ourselves—pricing varies depending on the scope and type of issue.
We also take on front veranda rebuilds during the winter months, which are typically smaller in scale—but still part of a complete design-and-build process.
